Perfect to chill out, read a good book, watch the sunsets, enjoy a margarita or your favorite beverage, or simply sit back and gaze at the magnificent white sand beach with its natural beauty. Home contains central heat and air. However, most of the time air circulation is superb with wonderful air flow from beach to bay.
Home is one of only 15 on the Point with lot that runs from Gulf beach to bay. You have two beautiful beaches - one on the Gulf side and one on Alligator bay. The bay is a perfect place to launch or anchor your boat, canoe, kayak or sail boat.
We have high speed internet, and TV, DVD, VCR stereo and a few movies for adults and children. You will have to use a cell phone or credit card to make long distance calls. You can make 800 calls but not 900 calls. Calls to Tallahassee, Apalachicola, Panacea and Crawfordville are not long distance.
If you are looking for beach houses on top of each other, traffic jams, high-rise condos, and hotels, Alligator Point is not the resort you are looking for. There are no hotels, motels or high-rise condos to detract from the natural beauty or block your view of the beach at our house on Alligator Point. Watch the porpoises frolic in the gulf, sea turtles lay their eggs and exotic bird watching. An unforgettable escape to paradise.
Large master suite with nice bath opening through french doors onto beachfront porch with windows at other end of suite opening onto the bay. King size bed. Two other bedrooms with connecting bath. They are small but each contains 2 comfortable twin beds. Large open bay to beach great room with french doors opening to screen porch and windows opening to bay. Pull out queen sleeper sofa. Kitchen nicely appointed with ice maker, double door fridge, new flat top stove and self-cleaning oven--granite counter tops and island with bar stools. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout home.
Nearby attractions - marina just down the beach; Wakulla Springs (Largest fresh water springs in world with boat rides), St. Marks Light House and Wildlife Refuge with great variety of birds, Apalachicola with the best oysters you can eat, St. George Island. . Nearby restaurants and churches. Wildwood and St. James golf courses a short drive away. Quaint little town of Panacea is just over the bridge with several excellent restaurants, and of course, places to buy wonderful fresh fish, shrimp and oysters to take home with you.

We are about 333 miles south of Atlanta, about 784 miles east of Houston, TX, 440 miles south of Chattanooga, TN, about 735 miles from Louisville, KY,about 151 miles east of Destin, Fl, about 100 miles east of Panama City, FL, 71 miles east of Cape San Blas,FL,about 41 miles east of Appalachicola and about 39 miles from the Tallahassee, FL airport.(TLH) Regardless of where you are coming from, you will end up on US 98 to get to Alligator Point.
